Inside a robotic surgery simulator

A surgeon training on a robotic surgery simulator, filmed at the hospital that owns it.

The brief. Dr. Rafael Tourinho was building his practice in robotic surgery techniques, and Hospital Aliança had the training simulator that surgeons use to rehearse. The video had to carry two things at once: his own development in the technique, and the partnership with the hospital behind it.

What I did. Built the piece around the simulator itself, so the technology does the explaining — the precision, the freedom of movement, the magnification. Two brands share the screen here, his and the hospital's, so the captions are styled to sit with both instead of competing with either.

The result. Strong reach, mostly on Instagram.
